Rapid was engaged by Sydney Trains to deliver a dedicated bicycle access pathway around the full perimeter of the Transport Interchange at Edgecliff Railway Station, re-purposing the outer-most bus lane. The project involved extensive custom-designed form-work and the preparation of the existing suspended slab with many hundreds of chemical anchors. The Transport Interchange remained fully accessible and operational throughout our works. Finally the entire pathway was painted and fencing delineating it from the bus interchange was installed. A Sydney Trains network standard bicycle shed was then installed by the client.
